Hey guys! So lately, I have been in a good mood. That is because I have been pushing myself to do the right things like going to the gym in the morning, being more active, working on my blog more often and basically following a routine instead of being a mess all the time.

Honestly, you can’t go a long way being unorganized and disorderly. Also, I have been pushing myself to go out more often. Yes, pushing yourself beyond your comfort zone hurts, but staying in your little bubble all day every day isn’t worth it. The wonderful feeling you get after going against your brain and doing something productive, is so amazing and satisfying and addicting. As you keep pushing yourself to do the things that are good for you, your heart and your health, your ‘rebellious’ brain will get used to the good habits that you’ve formed and you’ll want to be more and more productive every day. Why, you ask? Because you will realize that you are capable of doing anything and everything and difficult tasks will become challenges instead of burdens.

While bad things like eating loads of junk food and sleeping all day might sound tempting, they are terrible for you. The brain gets easily attached to bad things and you form habits out of them. For example, stuffing yourself with unhealthy food is easy and makes you feel good but working out and cutting out bad habits are very painful.

Good and bad habits are two sides of the same coin. While good habits are difficult to form and easy to lose, bad habits are extremely easy to form and very hard to get rid of. We usually are very aware when we are doing something bad. But many a times, people don’t want to admit that they aren’t doing the right thing. So, the first step to self improvement is admitting to yourself that what you are doing isn’t good for your well-being. If we don’t take steps to change the bad habits into good ones, not only will our heart be filled with guilt and regret because you can lie to everyone besides yourself, and inculcating good habits will get difficult as you grow older.

Currently, I am trying to pick myself up and force myself to do the right thing, that’s what matters the most right now. Yes, it’s going to be hard and painful, but what do I have to lose? It is definitely worth a million shots.
